They traveled to St. Anthony's school where they had one hour to create a cake of their own design in the category of Fantasy/Fairytale. The kids chose to create their own medieval castle complete with a damsel in distress and its own fire breathing dragon. After each category was voted upon our creative kids emerged victorious, winning both First Prize and Most Creative Overall, which earned them a day's use of a bouncehouse here at KKRB. As important as the prize, however, is the fact that this fieldtrip stressed creativity, imagination, initiative, and most importantly teambuilding. It's an excellent example of the fun to be had at Kids Kare Schools. |
