In celebration of Asian Culture week Kids Kare's own Ms. Nancy came in to discuss her Laotian culture with our preschool friends. She taught the children about different cultural traditions such as taking off your shoes in the house and bowing to show respect. She also instructed the children in the proper moves associated with her "special dance" used for important occasions and allowed them to touch and explore her traditional clothing before concluding the presentation by teaching the children to say hello and goodbye in Laotian. |
