The preschool classes spent the morning talking about what it means to vote and make their own individual choices. While our younger children focused on more age appropriate concepts of choosing by using colors to cast their votes, our older classes cast their votes for the actual person that they thought should be the President of the United States. By going through the actual voting procedure the children begin the lifelong process of learning some of what it means to be an American citizen. |
