As an extension of last week's study of healthy foods the Bunny Rabbit class began their own food project this week with a discussion of one of their favorite foods...pizza! The children started their project by discussing what types of toppings they customarily see on pizza, before moving on to the subject of the items that they could grow for the production of their own pizzas. This idea further led to a proposal for creating their own "pizza" garden. The children are very excited about the path that this project has taken, so be sure to check back over the next few weeks to see how it continues to unfold. |
